Why CNA Training?

It turns out CNA Training is the recession proof job. Let’s face it health care is here to stay. Many choices for working as a CNA are: Hospitals, Long Term Care Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Home Health, Hospice, and Private- IN-Home care giving.


Is the Washington State License valid in other states?

No, students will complete Endorsement or Reciprocity, which is means you are transferring the license to another state. You do not have to take the state examination again. It will be an extension of your Washington License, but you can not apply for other states until you have received your Washington State CNA License in your hands. We will provide the required forms for which state you will be transferring it to.


What is the average salary for a CNA in the state of Washington?

Washington State CNA’s make an average of $26,700 a year, and upwards to $35,000 depending on experience and where the CNA works.


What is a CNA License?

The CNA License means you are certified through the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and you meet the required hours to achieve the license.  With a CNA license your growth potential in the health care field is endless.


How many hours are required to receive a certificate of completion?

You will need at least 85 hours. However, our program is 87 hours, 37 Class/Lab hours along with 50 Clinical hours.


Do I need a Social Security Card in order to take the State Board Examination?

Yes, for the State Board Examination, and our CNA School, you will be required to provide a Social Security Number.


Do you provide information on Nursing Schools and other careers in addition to the CNA License?

Absolutely, it is our desire to inspire those who would love to go into the Nursing field as an RN or LPN.


What is the cost of the full CNA Class?







CPR BLS 2 YEAR CARD ($75 Value)

In addition, our classroom is full stocked with all supplies B/P cuffs, Gait Belts, and everything you need to succeed!


Is there reimbursement for the cost of the CNA Training?

There is reimbursement if the student is available if a student has been working at a Long-Term Care facility within 12 months of completing the Training. The employer will reimburse the employee on a quarterly basis, therefore every three months you should receive 25% of the tuition cost. If you only work for the Long-Term Care facility for 6 months, you are only entitled to 50% of the tuition cost.


Do you offer any Scholarships or other ways to help pay for the Program?

Our School gives out free scholarships multiple times a year. We also do drawings for Free Tuition, Free State Board Exams through the year. In the past we have had drawings at Career Fairs / Job Fairs gave out nursing supplies and accessories.


Do I need to buy a book or workbook?

No, the books and workbooks are Free ($65 Value) and you will receive them on the first day.


Do I need a Background check and what is the cost?

Yes you do need one, but we offer them for free ($15 Value).


Do I need to go to my doctor for a Tuberculosis test?

No, we administer them for free ($65 Value).


What is the dress code for the CNA School?

The first couple day’s attire is casual, after that we require students to wear scrubs that are Navy Blue or Light Pink with no designs. If you need help finding out where to buy scrubs, we recommend "The Scrub Shop." CLICK HERE for a map and contact information forthe Scrub Shop.


What else is required to bring for the CNA Program?

You are required to bring a pen or pencil, paper, and a smile. If you cannot provide a smile we gladly hand those out free of charge.


Are there any other fees that I will have?

You will pay an additional $110 to the State for testing and an addition $65 to the State for your license.


Does Mary Ann’s CNA Training School offer job placement?

We do not provide direct job placement, but with Mary Ann’s 30 plus years experience as an instructor we have worked with over 50 facilities that call us on a weekly basis and let us know how many CNA’s they are hiring. On top of the 50 facilities we also work directly with three private in home care agencies that are always looking for CNA’s.

Tuberculosis Test

You must have a tuberculosis test in the State of Washington as a CNA Trainee. We adminster them here for FREE ($60 Value).


Background Check

The State of Waschington requires a Background Check. Enrolled students also get this check provided at no additional cost ($15 value).
